Cheryl RobinsonBefore joining Edelman, Cheryl was a director at PadillaCRT, Cheryl provides strategic community relations, grassroots communications, employee engagement, sales and media relations counsel to clients within the agency’s corporate practice area. Cheryl works with clients to increase stakeholder awareness of important issues, educate stakeholders to make informed choices, and influence changes in behaviors and opinions.

Currently, Cheryl provides day-to-day management of the corporate practice’s largest account – Bridgestone Americas. The Bridgestone team develops strategies that tie together traditional and social media outreach, CEO communications, teammate engagement and environmental sustainability in a way that reflects the Bridgestone brand and culture.

She also provides oversight for the agency’s work with Los Angeles’ Original Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax, providing strategic leadership for the iconic Market’s media relations and community engagement communications.

Cheryl also manages the agency’s work with Waubridge Specialty Fabrics’ Kovenex brand, providing sales and marketing strategy and grassroots communications counsel to the performance fabric manufacturer, which is headquartered in Chester, Virginia. Prior to her work with PadillaCRT’s corporate clients, Cheryl managed Advil’s NASCAR sampling program, helping leverage the brand’s sponsorship of the No. 49 Advil car, which competed in the NASCAR Nationwide series. Cheryl also helped execute Advil’s sponsorship of the Advil Western Open, the Chicago stop on the PGA tour.

Cheryl received a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Virginia Wesleyan College, and has earned her accredited in public relations (APR) credential from the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB) administered by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
