You’ll have a chance to network with PR PRide\, Media Pros and Trailblazers. We have a fun celebrity appearance with the incredible Carson Kressley – Carson will be joining us in the beginning of the event\, so please make sure to arrive early to celebrate with him and the rest of our partners below! \nAll are welcome to join us on Monday\, June 29 at 5pm ET for this FREE event\, as we will highlight ways to come together and support by collaboration\, sharing best practices\, media pitching tips\, and discussing recent relevant campaigns showcasing the amazing work over the years and recently. PRSA-NY launched Feeling My PRide to better serve our LGBTQI+ community within PRSA-NY and those outside of the organization\, to encourage inclusivity and belonging within PRSA-NY and beyond throughout the PR and media communications industry as a whole. \nWe are excited to showcase Feeling My PRide Trailblazers to celebrate Global Pride within the PR and communications industry. The intention behind this initiative is to encourage PR and media professionals to lift each other up\, come together and celebrate PR and marketers who have done an incredible job over the years supporting the LGBTQI+ community. Wit that said\, we are absolutely honored to have partners including the Black Public Relations Society New York chapter (BPRS-NY) and the Hispanic Public Relations Association New York Chapter (HPRA-NY.) This includes Tracey Wood Mendelsohn\, President & CEO of BPRS-NY and Erika Sanchez\, President of HPRA-NY. We are also looking forward to having our partners across the PRSA network joining us for this special event including PRSA OC\, PRSA Los Angeles\, PRSA Dallas and PRSA National Capital Chapter. \nOur co-hosts for the evening include Martin Tettey\, PRSA-NY’s D&I Co-Chair and Loren Antonio Durán\, Account Supervisor at Finn Partners and Board Director of HPRA-NY. What’s more\, we have special guests including\, GLAAD’s Chief Communications Officer\, Rich Ferraro and Igee Okafor\, Founder & Editor-in-Chief of BOND OFFICIAL.
