Want to give your career an edge and get some top-level professional development at the same time?
Maybe it’s time you pursued your APR accreditation.
PRSA-LA has streamlined the process of earning the APR accreditation by moving to a Semi-Annual Readiness Review. The year’s first review was held Saturday, June 26 at the offices of PadillaCRT downtown.
During the Readiness Review, two candidates presented a PR project they worked on and explained, among other things, how they incorporated the four-step process of situational analysis, strategy, implementation and assessment. Each candidate made their presentation to three panelists, all LA chapter members who have earned their accreditation.
We thank the panelists who participated: Denise Ferguson, APR, a Pepperdine professor; Frank Kwan, APR of the Los Angeles County Office of Education; Vicky Lelash, APR of Runyon, Saltzman & Einhorn; Rebecca Mikkelsen, APR of Doug Hay & Associates; John Musella, APR of The Musella Group; and Cheryl Robinson, APR of PadillaCRT.
The next Readiness Review will be held Saturday, November 7.
