August events made Summer 2015 a season to remember for PRSA-LA chapter programming.
First, our August 15 chapter event, “From the Frontlines: What You Need to Know Now for the Crisis Ahead,” featured an all-star panel of crisis communications experts including Brian O’Connor (Princess Cruises), Alan Caldwell (Shell Oil Company), and Mike Michels (formerly of Toyota Motor Sales). Mary Grady of Los Angeles World Airports moderated as the panelists shared their “in-the-trenches” perspectives on managing an unfolding crisis. On August 20, current and prospective chapter members packed Beverly Hills’ Ocean Prime for the PRSA-LA Summer Social. Attendees enjoyed complimentary hosted drinks and hors d’oeuvres, great networking and a fantastic ambience as they wound down the summer in style.
