On November 13, PRSA-LA teamed with PRSA’s New York Chapter (PRSA-NY) for a first-of-its-kind bicoastal “Hangout” featuring top tier journalists.
The panel discussed the “do’s and don’ts” of pitching and securing editorial coverage in leading entertainment media outlets. It included Andrew Wallenstein (Variety) and Patrick Stinson (Made in Hollywood) in Los Angeles, and Steve Baker (ABC News) and Ilyssa Panitz (Closer Weekly) in New York.
The discussion was moderated by renowned public relations expert, author, educator and television commentator Howard Bragman. This special biocastal event was just the latest Hangout produced by PRSA-LA,, which began offering such events in February as way to augment traditional offline events and provide members with more access to influential media.

Great #prsahangout takeaway via @HowardBragman “no” means not now, not at the moment, & how you take it and turn it into a “yes.”
