Lauren Bartlett, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Blue Shield
Lauren Bartlett is joining Blue Shield of California as a Senior Manager in Corporate Communications on Feb. 6. Bartlett will manage communications issues impacting customers, such as regulatory matters, and changes related to plans, rates, and the Affordable Care Act. She will lead external communications efforts for the Markets Division, which includes individual and family plans, small business plans, core accounts, premier accounts, CalPERS and federal employees.
Prior to joining Blue Shield, Bartlett worked at Southern California Edison, where she regularly handled the most complex and highest profile issues, both proactively and reactively. She started her career in communications at the UCLA Office of Media Relations, her alma mater. At UCLA, she managed day-to-day office operations and supported Student Affairs.
