That was fast…
Summer has come and is just about gone in what feels like the blink of an eye—and there’s no time to reminisce.
We have several dynamic events planned for September, and you’re invited to take part in all the action.
It starts just after Labor Day with our next Independent Practitioners Luncheon (Sept. 5) focused on how PR pros can protect their (and their clients’) intellectual property. Then, on Sept. 10 we have our next At Breakfast With… This time we’ll feature some of L.A.’s leading community and public affairs programs. You can register now for both of these events.
Later in the month (Sept. 18) we’re co-hosting a members-only mixer with the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ/LA). Finally, on Sept. 23, we’re co-producing a Social Media Week panel with our friends at Social Media Club, L.A. (SMC-LA). Stay tuned for more information on these events and how to register.
September is also an important month because it’s the deadline for our 50th PRism Awards Call for Entries. The PRisms are our version of the Oscars, and taking one or more of them home makes a statement to your colleagues, clients and the rest of the PR world that your work is something special. The entry deadline is September 8, so don’t delay. The submission process is entirely online and very streamlined. Winners will be announced November 19 at the 50th Annual Prism Awards Show at the Hollywood Roosevelt (stay tuned for more info).
Rest up this Labor Day weekend because we have a very busy month ahead!
