Know any soon-to-be college graduates ready to make their start in PR? If so, you can help them network, learn and get inspired by telling them about the 4th Annual PRSSA One-Day Conference, which PRSA-LA will present on Saturday, April 9 at Loyola Marymount University.
Designed to meet the needs of members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), the conference features a full day of career guidance seminars and workshops led by working professionals.
Melissa Robinson of PMK*BNC will open the conference with a keynote presentation entitled, “U Brand 101: Lessons in Building the Most Important Brand You’ll Ever Work For – You!” The first-half of the day will include a panel discussion and networking opportunities with some of our region’s most established PR professionals representing practice areas including entertainment, nonprofit, healthcare, food/nutrition, travel/tourism, and public affairs.
In the afternoon, Scott Panksy of Allison+Partners will guide attendees in a workshop entitled “Bringing a PR Concept to Life: Collaborating with Peers, Learning and Sharing Best Practices.”
PRSA-LA is grateful to our hosts Loyola Marymount University and its PRSSA chapter, event sponsors Porter Novelli and Time Warner Cable, Campaign Challenge Sponsor Allison+Partners and Campaign Challenge Mentors from PRSA-LA Young Professionals, without whom this conference would not be possible.
