ABOUT THE PRSA-LA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The PRSA-LA Scholarship Program aims to recognize and assist outstanding undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in Public Relations or Communications.
Student scholarship winners will be notified in the summer and awarded their scholarships for the fall semester. Public recognition of the scholarship winners will happen annually at the PRSA-LA PRISM Awards ceremony.
In addition to receiving the scholarship, students will receive (1) year FREE access to all PRSA-LA webinars and events, giving them the additional opportunity to network and learn from PR professionals.
AWARD
Students selected will win a $1,500 scholarship.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT
THE 2026 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN. SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS APRIL 7, 2026.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Attend or be accepted to attend a four-year accredited college or university in Los Angeles County by Fall 2025 semester or be enrolled for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Be an incoming college sophomore, junior, senior undergraduate, or graduate student.
- Earn a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA in their major subject.
- Express a desire to work in the public relations/communications industries.
- Major in public relations, communications, advertising, and marketing.
- Be available to attend the 2026 PRSA-LA PRism Awards .
OTHER
Preference will be given to PRSSA student members.
