Those who follow this column know I’ve spent much of my year as president highlighting the many involvement opportunities available to PRSA-LA members.
This month, I want to share my sincere and personal thanks with those of you who have answered the call and made our chapter better in 2017.
Because whether you volunteered through service on the board or one of its committees, or sponsored an event, or shared wisdom with your colleagues as an invited speaker, or mentored a PRSSA student, or served as a judge for PRSA Georgia’s Phoenix Awards — the difference you made by your actions was immediate and real.
Very soon, even more of you will play a role in producing the 53rd Annual PRism Awards (judging wraps up this week), or encouraging a young person to seek Trevett Award honors, or helping local nonprofits in need at Quality Time with PR Minds.
To which I say thank you. Thank you for your continued investment in yourself, the profession, and your community.
May every act of service you embrace bring you inspiration and fellowship, tenfold.
