Diversity and Inclusion have long been topics of conversation in the PR/Communication profession. Despite numerous initiatives, many feel — and data suggest — that our ranks don’t adequately reflect the society in which we live.
And now comes the era of convergence — an era that will be the most prosperous in our profession’s history, but only if we can attract people with the requisite new talents and perspectives.
What happens when the Diversity and Convergence imperatives collide? Have we entered a time of “Conversity?” What exactly are we trying to achieve, and what do we do next?
These and other pressing questions will be on the table at the 25th Annual Kenneth Owler Smith Symposium.
