Jenny Kantor has two decades of consulting experience, specializing in corporate positioning, media relations, thought leadership, employee engagement, issues management, and business transformation communications. She creates communications programs that help organizations build reputations, manage transitions, and align around a strategic vision and purpose. Jenny has supported communications efforts for clients across multiple sectors including technology, BtoB, retail, education, and health/wellness. Jenny has been with Edelman for twelve years and during this time her clients have included industry-leading organizations such as Intuit, Mattel, Comcast NBCUniversal, ADP, ADT, and the University of Phoenix.
She is currently leading a corporate earned media and executive visibility program for financial tech platform Intuit, maker of TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, aimed at helping the company become a household name. The team has achieved more than 150 pieces of proactive coverage over the past year, with over half of those articles in Intuit’s top 30 target media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, Morning Brew, Bloomberg, TIME, and more. She also ran an integrated program to promote Comcast NBCUniversal’s approach to revolutionizing HR and employee benefits, overseeing a multi-million dollar campaign that spanned employee engagement, research, strategic counsel, executive positioning, speech development, media support, and creative positioning. Additional programming she’s overseen includes a purpose-driven campaign for the University of Phoenix, helping the institution build trust through impactful, societal activations aimed at breaking down barriers to career progression through strategic partnerships and thought leadership.
Prior to joining Edelman, Jenny was an Account Director in the Technology Practice at Weber Shandwick in New York. Jenny received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Ohio University. She served as a Board Member of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce and was recently named a finalist for the LA Business Journal “Women to Watch” Awards.
