Craig Nakano
Assistant Managing Editor, Entertainment & Arts, Los Angeles Times
Craig is the assistant managing editor for entertainment at the Los Angeles Times, running a team that covers movies, TV, music. podcasting, celebrity news, internet culture, books, and fine arts. He previously served as deputy editor for the department, and prior to that, as arts editor coordinating critics and reporters covering art, architecture, theater, classical music, and dance. Since starting at The Times in 2000, he also has been an editor for the Home and Travel sections. Before Craig moved to L.A., he was an editor at the San Francisco Chronicle and the Desert Sun in Palm Springs. He is an alum of Northwestern University.

Pamela Avila is a journalist, editor, and social media strategist based in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Her reporting focuses on entertainment, pop culture, and books with a lens often on the Latinx community and the way those topics intersect with social justice issues. She currently serves as USA TODAY’s Evening Entertainment Editor and Latinx Culture Writer.
