PRSA-LA: At Breakfast With… Consumer Entertainment and Lifestyle Journalists

It’s your chance to hear directly from those who hold the key to getting your entertainment and lifestyle clients featured in local media. The moderated panel discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A.
Meet our panelists:
Liberté Chan is an “LA Unscripted” contributor on KTLA Channel 5. For years she worked as a meteorologist and reporter, with her first stint at the station starting as a writer under the late Hal Fishman, an L.A. news legend, on his one-hour news show, KTLA 5 News at 10.
Claudia Cagan, Entertainment Tonight Supervising Producer, is a four-time Emmy-winning television producer, having started her career on the performing side of the business as a production singer and personal assistant. She traveled all over the world with her sister, GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter, Melissa Manchester, until she made the transition into TV production.
Rubi Molina from Telemundo’s national TV show “En Casa con Telemundo” is an enthusiastic bilingual and bicultural TV host, reporter and producer with experience reporting (live and recorded) for large networks in both Spanish and English. She produces, edits, and writes her reports. Additional experience includes producing entertainment segments for national radio. Rubi is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Moderator, Rick Markovitz is president of Weissman/Markovitz Communications. He has worked in executive-level positions with global advertising agencies, major entertainment companies, as well as leading technology-based firms for more than 30 years.
