Vivian Escalante-VIVIAN M. ESCALANTE
General Manager & CEO
Piccolo Pendolare

Vivian M. Escalante is not only the CEO and brains behind Piccolo Pendolare Inc., but is also the passionate CEO of Boyle Heights Community Partners, a nonprofit for Historic Preservation, Education and Community Participation.

Piccolo Pendolare came to life when Escalante purchased a personal Low Speed Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (LSNEV), and before she knew it, folks were asking her about her car outside of the grocery store, at red lights, or even crossing the street. That’s how she knew she was on to something.

Piccolo Pendolare Inc. is a great solution for an affordable, compact on the outside, comfortable on the inside LSNEV for 2 to 4 adults, serving the local community and meeting many transportation needs with affordability.

Escalante was born and raised in Boyle Heights, from the time that her family was displaced from Chavez Ravine, and she enjoyed growing up in a community of diversity. Her family comes from classic car culture, and she owns a classic 1965 Volvo, 122s, which has now become a once-in-a-while Sunday car.
