The Next Consumer Frontier: Engaging the Multicultural Millennial
June 25, 2014 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
The 78 million millennials in the U.S. today are not only a strong consumer force, they are also the most diverse generation in American history, with African Americans, Hispanics and Asian Americans accounting for 41% of their number. This year’s PRSA-LA multicultural and diversity forum focuses on how brands and non-profit organizations are targeting this influential mix of consumers. The program features a range of panelists with distinctly different relationships to multicultural millennials – from PR/marketing agencies, youth-oriented brands to nonprofit organizations – all with deep knowledge and compelling campaigns to share.
The evening will begin with Jose Villa, Principal of Sensis, who will present key findings from a new report analyzing the behavior of multicultural millennials. Other panelists – representing Hispanic, Black, Asian, LGBT demographics – will discuss the newest studies, trends and programming designed to engage the important consumer group.
