As the communications director for Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas, Jade Stevens is responsible for managing and coordinating all media activities, including social media. She also serves as the Assemblymember’s official spokesperson/media liaison, and is tasked with advising him on grassroots communications.
State Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas represents the 54th district, which stretches from Century City to portions of South LA and Inglewood. Stevens is actively involved in developing communications strategies for Ridley-Thomas’ robust legislative package which focuses on economic development, healthcare and education. She also works on special projects for the Assembly Revenue and Taxation committee and the Select Committee on Homelessness, both which Assemblymember Ridley-Thomas chairs.
Stevens served previously as an account supervisor at LAGRANT COMMUNICATIONS, a multicultural integrated marketing communications firm. She also served as a two-time president for PRSA-LA’s Young Professionals chapter and is a recipient of the 2014 PRSA-LA Trevett Award, which recognizes outstanding young PR professionals in the Greater Los Angeles area.
