Raul Gordillo is a seasoned bilingual communicator and former journalist with over 15 years of corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, public relations, and news media experience. Raul currently serves as the Senior Strategic Outreach Manager at SoCalGas, where he leads the media relations, strategic engagement and outreach efforts for the company’s major construction projects and clean fuels initiatives in more than 500 communities and 12 counties in Southern California.
Prior to joining SoCalGas/SDG&E/Sempra, Raul was a news producer at KVEA-TV Telemundo 52, the sister station of KNBC-TV. In this role, he managed the daily delivery of broadcast programming content and collaborated closely with Los Angeles area agencies on stories and services that benefitted the community.
Raul has also contributed to the field of public relations through his service on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America, Los Angeles Chapter (PRSA-LA). He has also chaired the Chapter’s “At Breakfast With” media panel sessions.
Raul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting/Telecommunications from California State University, Los Angeles.
