Allie Lee is Director of Communications at Participant, the leading media company dedicated to entertainment that stands at the intersection of art and activism. A public relations professional with over 15 years of experience, she leads corporate communications efforts for the production company, including public relations strategy, corporate partnerships and major event/festival sponsorships.

Prior to Participant, Lee was Publicity Lead at Amazon Studios, where she launched series including the global breakout hit The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which won a record number of Emmys and Golden Globes for season one; the criminal justice documentary series Free Meek; and Emmy winners All or Nothing and Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse. As part of the women’s affinity group at Amazon, Lee was on the team that created the Community Obsession Week, a volunteerism opportunity for Amazon employees.

Preceding Amazon, Lee was a Manager of Communications at Comedy Central, where she launched the tentpole series Drunk History, as well as projects including Idiotsitter and Review. Lee began her entertainment PR career at Chasen & Company.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Chapter of The Public Relations Society of America, the Television Academy, The Communications Network and the Black Public Relations Society of Los Angeles.

Lee holds an MA in Communication and a BA in German Studies, both from Stanford University.
