Media Training – Best Practices for Getting Story Placements

Four seasoned professionals will be doing a 90-minute, intensive training session on how best to effectively pitch media outlets, from traditional to alternative and new media.
Attendees will learn how to take an idea, turn it into a pitch that journalists will respond to, find and effectively target reporters and then pitch the story to turn it into a hit or campaign. You’ll get some expert tips and hear some interesting real-world examples of how these professionals put their knowledge and skill into action. Young professionals are encouraged to attend, as well as anyone who wants to hear how other media relations professionals make their secret sauce.
